Remember to avoid exercising for 24 hours, and don’t apply any makeup or skin care products to the treated area aside from a protective ointment such as Aquaphor®. After the initial 48 hours, keep the area clean and moisturized, and wear a broad-spectrum sunscreen to protect your results. Minor side effects like redness, swelling or pinpoint bleeding are common, but will dissipate within a few days following treatment.

While initial improvements may be visible immediately following treatment, optimal results will appear gradually over the coming weeks and months as your collagen is replenished and your skin regenerates.
